DITL

So I'm currently doing DITL today.
This is like the 3rd time I've done it. I do love it, but it makes me realize how very BORING, but chaotic my life is. lol. It's like wash, rinse, repeat, all day long. Except today we got up at 6 am (gah) and went to a dr in Denver. Everything else is the same. Feed the minions, change their diapers, let them sleep, play with them, feed them, change them, let them sleep, play with them, etcetera. I can't ever get out of the house or even walk to the park by myself because I can't push the quad stroller AND Lily's wheelchair. She can't sit in the quad stroller anymore. I can put her in my babyhawk still, but I haven't been able to with my pain recently.

Anyway...

J is a wuss. We all were sick several weeks ago and we all got over it. He worked himself to death and got another cold. He is contemplating the ER, steroid shots, and so on because he's just soooo miserable. *rolling eyes*
He gave his cold to Dakota. Her fever is higher than his and she's laying in bed hardly keeping her eyes open because she's so lethargic. J does this melodramatic cough and is just wheezing and coughing. He stops, finally, and she sits up, looks at him and goes "whas matter da? Big banana?"
Me=ded. I was laughing so hard. He just chuckled, threw me the stink eye and laid back down. Even when she's sick, she's hilarious.
I'm just hoping no one else gets sick. I sent J to the store for some immune booster stuff (and some alcohol and chocolate for me. Might as well enjoy the night if I'm going to be up, lol). Hopefully I can nip this in the bud before it gets any worse.

I am dying not doing any photography lately. I'm *needing* to find some people to do photoshoots of. I want to do some totally off the wall maternity photos, but I have to find people willing to let me do them. I think I might barter totally free pics with a pregnant lady who is willing to do whatever. That could work. Just have to find one now.
My friend is 12 weeks pregnant right now, but there's no way I can get her to traipse around in the nude when she's 8 months pregnant. LOL.
This other woman on a local message board I'm on is almost full term. I told her I'd do her birth/labor photography for free if I could make it to the birth. I really would love to add birth photography to my portfolio and offer it as a option, but it's not going to be possible. I can hopefully do this one and I'll do my friends when she has her baby, but aside from that, I simply can't offer it. I don't have the ability to get to births and stay for hours. It makes me sad because I would love to do that since being a midwife isn't an option for me anymore as long as Lily is alive. Hopefully when J is out of college and the kids are older, it can be an option for me.

Speaking of J; his grandmother is dying. :( We knew she was sick, she's been in the hospital for a while now, but hospice is coming tomorrow to transfer her out of the hospital into a hospice care center or something or other.
I have more to talk about on this subject, but it'll be in a locked post. :)

HUGS!

I totally understand feeling like you just do the same thing over and over and over! I also hope that no one else gets sick. Isn't it amazing how boys can NOT handle any sort of pain! Good thing they don't have the babies, or there wouldn't be any! Good luck getting those pictures. Enjoy the chocolate and booze!
